📸 Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint

A roadside state wayside on Highway 97 where you can walk out and look down 300 feet into the Crooked River Gorge — the same canyon system that wraps the ranch. Two historic bridges span the gorge (one for car traffic, one a 1926 steel arch closed to vehicles but open to walkers).

Good to know

• Free; no fees.
• The pedestrian-only Crooked River Bridge is a few hundred feet north.
• Watch for hawks and falcons hunting in the gorge.
